ARTS WORKSHOP
Chit Chat Thursdays
EVERY FRIDAY - 10:00 to 12:00pm
Airdrie Workmens Club, Broomknoll Street, Airdrie
Diamonds in the Community and North Lanarkshire Culture Collective are working together to provide free community art workshops in Airdrie.

Come along and be creative, in a supportive and safe environment. The workshops will help you to relax, improve mental wellbeing and provide a regular opportunity to socialise and meet new people.
The workshops are open to anyone who would like to give art a try! No experience is necessary, and the workshops will be suitable for all abilities. All art materials will be provided.
The sessions will be led by John Martin Fulton, who studied painting at Glasgow School of Art, winning awards from the RSA and GSA when graduating in 2004. He has continually developed his painting from his studio in Glasgow’s East End while working in social care settings as an art teacher. He uses bold and expressive colours to give his work vibrancy and a sense of mood. His technique demonstrates skill but also gives his paintings a sense of feeling and emotion. His paintings of flowers owe much to the expressive floral works of Van Gogh.
In his early career John Martin won many awards including University of Glasgow Graduation Ceremony Artist 2014, The Royal Scottish Academy John Kinross 2004 and the GSA Landscape Prize 2004.
